I fell in love with my body thanks to yoga.
I did not feel physically, emotionally or spiritually empowered in any way when I began practicing.
Diagnosed with anorexia at the age of 11– scoliosis shortly after, major depression, PTSD, and multiple different anxiety disorders, years of abuse and control later—- I found my way to yoga. Or maybe yoga found its way to me.
Either way, I found myself growing more and more empowered by each asana, these beautiful poses I never knew my body was capable of.
The power of growing into your own breath during asana.
Awakening pieces of your soul you had hiding away.
Helping me to understand my true strength every day. .
