Did you know that roughly 94% of life on Earth is aquatic and about two thirds of all marine life still remains unidentified? 🌊
In 2016, they discovered this cute little red species of sea dragon that remained undiscovered for years even though they were living in the shallow waters off the coast of Australia. 🐉
There are even mysterious sounds reported from the depths of the ocean that scientists can’t explain.
One of the noises is reported to sound like a “bloop” that mimics marine animal sounds. Since the noise is too loud to be created by any known sea life, lots of people joke about the noise being Cthulhu, an octopus monster H.P. Lovecraft created, but I’ve got other ideas…
