Some of you may not know this about me, but I have SIX CATS.
Whom I all adore and love beyond belief.
They are my family.
Everyone, meet Skitch.
Skitch is the oldest of the cats I have.
My mom was a veterinary technician my whole life, and when I was in the second or third grade she brought home a kitten she had saved.
It was the middle of winter and a horrible snowstorm had come, someone found a dead mama kitty and a bunch of kittens nearby… they called the local emergency animal hospital where my mom happened to work, and brought in the animals they thought were all deceased.
My mom saw one of the kittens, and said “No. I will not accept death.” Then she spent 45 MINUTES trying to warm this little kitten back to life.
Well here he is today.
Still kickin’.
